Traditional Vanilla Cake Recipe - Step by Step guide

Vanilla cake is most common and most famous cake recipe, which is loved my everyone. May be it is your birthday, or your wedding anniversary, or Christmas, this cake suits well for any occasion. Vanilla Cake Recipe Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 1 and 1/2 Cup
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Eggs – 2
  • Milk – 1/3 Cup
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 Tsp
  • Baking Powder – 2 and 1/2 Tsp
  • White Vinegar – 1/4 Tsp
  • Cooking Oil – 1/3 Cup (If you want to use butter, you can replace this cooking oil with 1/3 Cup Butter)
  • Salt – 1/4 Tsp
  • Baking Pan – 1


Method for Preparing Vanilla Cake

  1. Take a bowl and add flour, baking powder and salt to it and mix well.
  2. Now add 2 egg yolks, add milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla essence to it and mix well.
  3. After mixing well for couple of minutes, now add oil to it and mix the complete mixture well.
  4. Take another bowl and add egg whites, remaining sugar and vinegar to it and mix it well.
  5. Mix it well until the mixture becomes fluffy.
  6. Add this mixture to the previous bowl and mix all complete mixture very well until it becomes smooth.
  7. Take a baking pan and grease it with butter.
  8. Add the cake mixture into this baking pan.
  9. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees.
  10. Put this baking pan inside the oven and bake it for about 25 minutes.
  11. Remove the pan from the oven.
  12. Once the cake gets cool enough, remove it from the baking pan into a separate plate.
  13. Cut them in pieces and serve your vanilla cake.
