Ingredients Required for Preparing Egg Kofta

  • Eggs – 2
  • Mutton Keema – 150gms
  • Grounded Green chilli paste – 1 Tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds powder (Dhaniya powder) – 1/2 Tsp
  • Gram Flour – 2 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala – 1 Pinch
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tsp
  • Chopped Coriander leaves – 1 Tbsp
  • Cooking Oil
  • Salt – As per the taste
  • Blotting paper

Method for Preparing Egg Kofta Curry

  1. Boil the eggs and peel off their shells. Keep them aside.
  2. Take a bowl and add mutton keema to it.
  3. Now add green chilli paste, red chilli powder, garam masala, lemon juice, coriander seeds powder, coriander leaves, gram flour, and salt to it and mix well.
  4. Now take the boiled eggs and roll them in this mixture. Make sure that this mixture gets pasted all around each boiled egg.
  5. Take a frying pan and add cooking oil to it. Heat it on a medium flame.
  6. Once the oil gets hot enough, add these eggs to it and fry them.
  7. Fry them till the keema mixture around the eggs turns into golden brown color with continuous turning of eggs. Make sure that all sides of the egg turns into golden brown color.
  8. Take the fried eggs and place them on blotting paper, so that, excess oil gets soaked by the paper.
  9. Now cut these boiled into round slices and take them into separate plate.
  10. If you want, garnish them with sliced onions. Your egg kofta is ready to get served.
