Ingredients Required For Preparing Jeera Aloo
- Potatoes – 3 (boiled, peeled and chopped)
- Finely chopped Green Chillies – 2
- Finely chopped Coriander Leaves – 6 to 7
- Lemon Juice – 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Cooking Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
Method For Preparing Jeera Aloo
- Firstly boil the potatoes. After boiling them, peel the skin and cut into medium pieces.
- Take a pan and heat the oil in it.
- Now add the boiled potato pieces to the pan.
- Now add cumin seeds and saute them. Stir them and fry them for 5 minutes.
- Add lemon juice, coriander, turmeric powder, and salt to it and mix well.
- Cook it for about 5 minutes until potatoes become soft.
- Take it into another container and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
