Ingredients Required for Preparing Tomato Soup

  • Tomatoes – 4 Ripe
  • Mint Leaves – Few
  • Butter – 1 medium sized piece
  • Pepper – 1/4 Tsp
  • Bread – 1 Pieces
  • Cooking Oil
  • Water – Both normal and Ice cold
  • Salt – As per taste

Method for Preparing Tomato Soup

  1. Take the bread piece and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Take a pan and add cooking oil to it.
  3. Heat on a medium pan and fry the bread pieces until they turn into golden brown color.
  4. Take them into plate and keep them aside.
  5. Clean the tomatoes and take them into a bowl.
  6. Add water to the bowl and boil the tomatoes.
  7. Meanwhile take a bowl of ice cold water.
  8. After boiling the tomatoes for 2 to 3 minutes, transfer them directly into the the bowl containing ice cold water.
  9. Now peel off the skin of the tomatoes.
  10. Cut them into small pieces and keep aside.
  11. Take a pan and add water to it.
  12. Boil the water for a minute and add kept aside tomato pieces.
  13. Add mint leaves, pepper and salt to the mixture and boil it for another 5 to 6 minutes.
  14. Now switch off the stove and leave the mixture for cooling.
  15. Once it get cold enough, blend the whole mixture.
  16. Sieve the blended mixture with help of a strainer sifter into a large bowl.
  17. Take the soup into smaller bowls.
  18. Add kept aside fried bread pieces to it.
  19. Your tomato soup is ready to get served.
