Ingredients Required for Preparing Tomato Soup
- Tomatoes – 4 Ripe
- Mint Leaves – Few
- Butter – 1 medium sized piece
- Pepper – 1/4 Tsp
- Bread – 1 Pieces
- Cooking Oil
- Water – Both normal and Ice cold
- Salt – As per taste
Method for Preparing Tomato Soup
- Take the bread piece and cut it into small pieces.
- Take a pan and add cooking oil to it.
- Heat on a medium pan and fry the bread pieces until they turn into golden brown color.
- Take them into plate and keep them aside.
- Clean the tomatoes and take them into a bowl.
- Add water to the bowl and boil the tomatoes.
- Meanwhile take a bowl of ice cold water.
- After boiling the tomatoes for 2 to 3 minutes, transfer them directly into the the bowl containing ice cold water.
- Now peel off the skin of the tomatoes.
- Cut them into small pieces and keep aside.
- Take a pan and add water to it.
- Boil the water for a minute and add kept aside tomato pieces.
- Add mint leaves, pepper and salt to the mixture and boil it for another 5 to 6 minutes.
- Now switch off the stove and leave the mixture for cooling.
- Once it get cold enough, blend the whole mixture.
- Sieve the blended mixture with help of a strainer sifter into a large bowl.
- Take the soup into smaller bowls.
- Add kept aside fried bread pieces to it.
- Your tomato soup is ready to get served.
