जब शोले फिल्म सिनेमा घरों में रिलीज़ हुयी थी, तब ये फिल्म अछि ब्यबसाय कर नहीं पायी थी। उस वक़्त की प्रिंट मीडिया ने फिल्म को फ्लॉप घोसित किया था। प्रोडूसर पगला गए थे फिल्म की ये दसा देख कर। प्रोडूसर रमेश सिप्पी और लेखक सलीम - जावेद दुबारा से कुछ अंश को शूट करने की सोच रहे थे के तभी दो हफ्ते बाद फिल्म ने चमत्कारी रूप से ब्यबसाय करना सुरु कर दिया था।
When sholay was released in the 1975, it did not do good business. Media at that time declared flop. Producers were in vein because of the huge investment in the project. Even producer thought to reshoot with new changes. But couple of weeks later, this movie started to attract people to the theatre. And wrote a new history.
